I’ve maintained the same personal email address—rocknraceboxer3—since my high school days back in 2003. Originally, I chose a handle that captured my teenage passions: rock music, car racing, boxing, and my favorite number. As I’ve grown, the name has evolved alongside me. Today, it represents my love for rock climbing, athletic racing, kickboxing, and the digit I still consider "lucky." Because this address is linked to nearly two decades of digital accounts, I’ve simply embraced it. It has transitioned into my username and social media handle, making it the natural choice for the title of my blog.
I first attempted this project on social media a few years ago. I managed to publish a few chapters before falling behind. While I frequently intended to revive it, the blog never quite made it to the top of my priority list—until now. As I lean further into my professional brand and public presence, I am ready to tackle this narrative once more.
Sharing my background is not just about personal transparency; it is essential for connecting with those who resonate with my mission. My journey involves navigating poverty, neglect, and bullying, as well as surviving various forms of abuse and hardship. It is a chronicle of how athletics, outdoor adventures, and the "angels" who entered my world helped me persevere. While these struggles are unfortunately common in our often-difficult world, I believe this story—like any—deserves to be told to create meaning and purpose for others.
I cannot promise a rigid posting schedule, as my life is incredibly demanding, but I am committed to seeing this through. Throughout these entries, you will find references to Christianity, as my path has led me to a deep spiritual relationship with God. I am not here to preach or proselytize; faith is simply an integral part of my history. My hope is to foster a community of readers who feel empowered to share their own experiences and perhaps join us on this journey of health, fitness, nutrition, and outdoor recreation.
